How Clarivue Works

Clarivue applies gentle, continuous pressure at the base of a skin tag — the same mechanical principle used in clinical removal, simplified into a precision applicator you use at home in under a minute.

Step 1 — Position

Clean the area and choose the applicator head that matches the tag's size. The kit includes a small and a large head so the fit is accurate rather than approximate.

Step 2 — Press

Slide the head over the tag and press the trigger once. The band is released at the exact base of the tag, without touching the surrounding skin.

Step 3 — Let it work

Leave it in place. The band holds steady pressure, the tag dries, and it falls away naturally — typically within 7 to 14 days. No bandage and no aftercare are required in between.

Why pressure rather than cutting or freezing

Freezing kits work by destroying tissue, which is what produces the stinging sensation and carries a risk of scarring or discolouration. Cutting requires a sterile blade and a steady hand, and it bleeds. Clarivue does neither. Steady pressure simply interrupts the small blood supply feeding the tag, and the body handles the rest on its own timeline.

Because nothing is burned or cut, there is no wound to heal and, once the tag has separated, typically no visible mark left behind.

What to expect, honestly

Application itself is painless — most people describe it as a mild snugness that fades within a few minutes. Larger tags take longer than small ones, and the full range is genuinely 7 to 14 days rather than the overnight results some products claim. The tag will darken before it separates; this is expected and not a sign of a problem.

Before you start

Clarivue is intended for cosmetic use on benign, existing skin tags. It is not a substitute for a dermatologist's evaluation of any new or changing skin growth. If a growth has changed in colour, shape, or size, or if you have not had it looked at, see a doctor before treating it at home. We also recommend a patch test if you have very sensitive skin, and we'd suggest not using the kit on the eyelid or on any growth you are not confident is a skin tag.
